17th Annual Gene & Lucille Letourneau Ice Fishing Derby

Are you looking for something to do this weekend?  Why not participate in the 17th Annual Gene & Lucille Letourneau Ice Fishing Derby?  This derby benefits the Spectrum Generations Meals on Wheels Program.   It will be on Sunday, February 22.  Randy McCoy from the Morning Buzz will be at the Muskie Center on Gold Street in Waterville when weigh-in begins at 2pm

Each year the need for Meals on Wheels continues to grow. Last year they cooked, prepared, and delivered more than 200,000 nutritious meals to seniors who are home-bound, disabled, or recovering from an illness.

This is open to all Maine lakes.  There are several categories you can enter:

Adults (1st & 2nd prizes):

• Salmon
•  Brook Trout
•  Brown Trout
• Togue
• Splake
• Pickerel
• Pike
• White Perch

Kids (15 & under):
1st, 2nd & 3rd prizes for same categories as adults PLUS:

• Yellow Perch
• Black Crappie
