2014 Hurricane Season Names

The Atlantic or Eastern Hurricane season begins June 1^st and runs through November 30^th. The Pacific or Western Hurricane season runs May 15^th through November 30^th. NOAA is predicting a below normal Atlantic hurricane season because of the high probability of a strong El Nino.

The names for the 2014 hurricanes are:

Arthur, Bertha, Cristobal, Dolly, Edouard, Fay, Gonzalo, Hanna, Isaias, Josephine, Kyle, Laura, Marco, Nana, Omar, Paulette, Rene, Sally, Teddy, Vicky, Wilfred.

 Names for the Pacific hurricane season are:

Amanda, Boris, Cristina, Douglas, Elida, Fausto, Genevieve, Hernan, Iselle, Julio, Karina, Lowell, Marie, Norbert, Odile, Polo, Rachel, Simon, Trudy, Vance, Winnie, Zavier, Yolanda, Zeke.
