2015 Maine Moose Permit Lottery Winners

2,740 permits were allocated over the weekend in Bethel for this year's moose hunt. That is down 11 percent from last year. Most (90 percent) of the permits went to Maine residents.

Maine’s moose hunt this fall will be in three geographic zones. The first being Sept. 28 - Oct. 3 in northern Maine. Then Oct. 12 - 17 in northern and western Maine. Also, Nov. 2 - 28 in southern parts of the state.
