It’s one thing to go back to college when you’re in your 40’s, a lot of people are doing it. It’s another thing to go back to college and make the school basketball team. Brian Rice was a good high school ball player and had several recruiters interested but he was not ready to make a commitment to go to school so he joined the Navy. Rice served in the Navy for 25 years but never gave up his love for the game.

Today he’s living his dream of playing college basketball with NCAA Division III Geneva College. At the age of 43 Rice is the oldest on his team but despite his age, he’s made an impact! Team mates where shocked he even showed up but admit, ‘He has game’ and because of his age and experience, he’s a team leader.
