What a weekend in college basketball with the two remaining undefeated teams losing. Duke raked #1 and Michigan raked #2 both put one in the ‘L’ column and will probably drop slightly in the rankings. Duke’s first loss came to NC State 84-76, the Wolfpack's first win over Duke since 2004. NC State (13-2) has a good team but haven’t looked as good and strong as they hoped when they began the season when they where picked as a preseason favorite to win the ACC.

Michigan came in to this weekend with a #2 ranking and a record of 16-0 and would have taken over the #1 spot after Duke lost. Playing a conference foe like #15 Ohio State is always tough and showed for Michigan.  Ohio State, being at home, took advantage of a home crowd and got to an early lead, 29-8 after 14 minutes of play. Michigan came roaring back and the Buckeyes had to hang on to win 56-53.
