Brooke Haire, a 6 year old girl whose last wish was for Blake Shelton to see her sing his song Savior’s Shadow, was declared legally brain dead after her operation.

According to Taste of Country, Blake did see the video and called Brooke an angel and said he was honored that she sang his song. The video was filmed earlier in the week with Brooke in a wheel chair. On the morning of the surgery she asked if the video was sent to Shelton, it was. Shelton got word of the video on the morning of her surgery but unfortunately she wasn’t conscious to learn it made its way to him.
