Here's a sign of the times, a good sign. I had to use the station van for a gig in Waterville and when I got in it, it was out of gas. I mean bone dry, light on, below empty out.

I had to get money from the front office to get gas. I was asked if I wanted to fill-it-up and I said just give me $40. I headed to the gas station and the price was $2.05, now it had been a while since I have had put gas in the van, so I told the clerk 'I'll take $40 worth'.

I remember in the past that $40 would put a little less than three quarter of tank of gas in the van. As I was pumping it all of a sudden shut off at $34. Shock! I had to go back inside and get another receipt and my  comment was, 'I can't used to these new gas prices'. That's what you call 'opposite sticker shock, i like it!
