A Large Pizza Cut Into 8 Or 12 Slices – This GF Has A Difficult Time Deciding

I could see how this might be confusing to some.  Maybe this is another victim of Common Core Math.  But here's the problem:  You order a large pizza.  The waiter asks you if you want that large pizza cut into 8 slices or 12 slices.  What do you choose?  This girlfriend was asked this question by her inquisitive boyfriend.  She chose 8 slices.  It's her reasoning that will keep you laughing.

OK...8 or 12 slices....and why?
