A Very Special Anderson Moment

Being a Mom is incredible. You have experiences you never thought you would have and you wish you could remember each and every one of them.

I had one of those such moments yesterday.Yesterday, Anderson asked me to marry him. I told him that moms and sons don't get married...that's YUCKY! I told him he would have to find a girl all his own but that she needs to be special.

He then said he wanted to learn to build things. Why? So he could add a 3rd floor to our house so he could live with me forever. I told him "Why don't you just buy the house next door?" He thought about it and said "Well, that's a short walk." When we got home he proceeded to start walking to the neighbor's house. I asked where he was going and he said to ask them to buy their house.

Is there anything better than hearing how much your child loves you? I don't think there is. Precious moments like these are meant to be shared with others. It's nice to hear about the good things that are happening in the world.

A listener had a great idea of keeping a notebook of such special moments. I hope I can remember even more of these and show him when he gets older how much he loves his Mama.
