The U.S. Post Office is putting out 16 Forever stamps celebrating the National Park Service’s 100th anniversary. Acadia National Park’s Bass Harbor Head Light will be the first of the Forever stamps.

All of the stamps created to honor the National Park Service will be officially celebrated in a ceremony in New York in June. Dedications will also take place at the parks depicted on the stamps.

Acadia National Park, at Mount Desert, is home to the tallest mountain on the U.S. Atlantic coast.
