With the LA Auto Show underway it's the place to be this week for all that is new and improved and trending when it comes to automobiles.

One of the more interesting but, not surprising items that drew my attention was brought forward by Amazon. I don't know why anything should surprise me when it comes to Amazon. I didn't see them buying WholeFoods either and look at things now!

Amazon is hoping to bring the Alexa personal assistant to cars and trucks to assist with everything from navigation to finding a good place to eat. Granted they really would like to be part of every auto makers dashboard but for now that is a ways off in the distance.

Since Amazon has been made aware of so many hacks and mods to allow people to connect to Alexa while in their car, Amazon has developed and plans to launch Echo Auto in 2019 as reported by usatoday.com.
