Andy Capwell’s ‘American Idol’ Recap: And The Winner Is …..

Season 14 of 'American Idol' crowned a winner last night, but we have two hours of live music from some of the biggest stars to enjoy before we get the news. It was a fun show, here's my recap.

The show opens with the finalists Clark and Nick singing with Fall Out Boy, 'Will You Remember Me'. It was a good opening.

Next, it was what was left of the Jacksons, with Idol finalist, Tyanna Jones singing a medley of Jackson 5 songs. Tyanna was good, the Jackson were not.

Then it's Niles Rodgers with Chic and the top twelve ladies performing a medley of songs. It was fun.

Ricky Martin and the top 12 guys perform a medley of Ricky's hit. It was cheesy, fun and classic American Idol.

Janelle Monet and Idol finalist Adanna Duru sing a really mind numbing song about Yoga?

Some guy named Prince Royce is joined by Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez and sing a song called 'Back It Up'. It was well done and fun!

Joey Smith teams up with Echosmith, wow this was bad.

Keith Urban takes the stage and sings his new single 'Even The Stars Fall 4 You'' . Easily the best performance of the night!

Jamie Foxx teams up with Idol finalist Rayvon Owen to sing a new song from Jamie's album. It was well done, but a weird song for two guys to sing together.

Next, Nick and Clark give their mentors a new Ford Focus (and they get one too!)

New Kids On The Block are joined by Idol finalist Daniel Seavey and this was painful bad.

Vance Joy & Idol finalist Quentin Alexander perform. Ehhh

Pitbull, Chris Brown and Idol contestant Qaasim rock it out. Very good job!

Steven Tyler debuts his new country single 'Love Is Your Name', I like the song, he kind of messes it up live. Then Jax, third place contestant, team up and rock it out.

Michael McDonald and Clark Beckham sing 'Takin' It To The Streets' and it was good.

Nick Fradiani and Andy Grammer sing and Andy's hit song and it was very good.

Then the judges Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban sing a medley of songs and it was really good.
