Andy Capwell’s American Idol Recap: Atlanta Auditions

The American Idol auditions were in Atlanta, Georgia and the level of talented contestants continues this season. The judges gave Golden Hollywood tickets to around 40 more singers, many that the television audience didn't see during the hour long broadcast last night.Some of the strongest that I saw from the show last night included.

Majesty Rose: A pre-school teacher that covered Coldplay's 'Violet Hill'. She was probably my favorite last night.

Other standouts included: Ben Briley, Caleb Johnson and Bria Anai Johnson.

Again, I thought the judges let many okay singers through to Hollywood.

There was one young lady, Lauren Ogburn, that auditioned by singing Reba McEntire's 'Fancy'. I thought it wasn't that good, the judges loved her. Watch her audition and let me know what you think.
