American Idol's Top 24 performed this week and last night it was the ladies turn to take the stage. Country music was well represented as well, but first, let me give you my recap of the night.

Lovey James: She took the stage and did a very good job with a One Republic song. I'll give her a B+

Adanna Duru: Sang a song called 'Rather Me' and she had great vocal command and sang the song very well. I'll give her an A -.

Alexis Gomez: Our first country song of the night! Alexis took on Gunpowder & Lead and she did a very good job. Not spectacular but solid. I'll give her a B.

Joey Cook: It was memorable as she completely made Keith Urban's 'Somebody Like You' her own. You either loved it or hated it. I really thought it was bad. The thing is she can really sing. I'll give her a D.

Katherine Winslow: She's from Massachusetts and she takes on a song from Taylor Swift and the Civil Wars. It's a very nice vocal performance but it's a song many people don't know and I think that will work against her. I thought she was great. I'll give her a B+

Shannon Berthiaume: This is the first really bad performance of the night. She sings 'Who Knew' by Pink and she just never is in tune. I'll give her an F.

Loren Lott: Sings a song called 'Note To God'. She does a very good job on this big song. However, she comes across as unlikable and I think she might not make the top 16. I'll give her a B+

Shi Scott: Takes on Umbrella and we have another really bad performance. I hate to write this but she sounded like a man trying to sing like a woman. Add the fact that she was off-key and you've got a horrible performance. I'll give out my second F.

Sarina-Joi Crowe: Sings Jessie J and this was excellent. Strong vocal and good stage presence. I'll give her an A -

Maddie Walker: She sings Shania Twain and I can hear good elements to the tone of her voice this performance was at best just fair. I'll give her a C.

Jax: Takes on Nancy Sinatra. It was good but it sure seems that Jax is coming across as annoying. Vocally though it was strong. I'll give her a B.

Tyanna Jones: The 16-year-old from Florida has a good voice but it seemed like nerves got the better of her. The judges loved her. That performance was just decent. C+
