The Top 12 are sitting in red chairs hoping they turn green, that means they are safe. This is a new twist to the show, since there is no results show this season. The theme for the night is 'let's get the party' started night, lame. Here's my recap of the performances.

1. Rayvon Owen: He's one of my favorites, last night he was just alright. A little off-pitch at times but he's still one of the better singers. B-

2. Maddie Walker: Take's on 'She's Country' and it's an okay karaoke version of the song. She has star quality but this wasn't that good. C-

3. Joey Cook: If hear artistry one more time! This was actually the first week that I kind of liked her performance. B

4. Clark Beckham: Clark singing the Doobie Brothers, sounds like this should be awesome. It wasn't, it was decent but Clark never hit a home run with this. B-

5. Jax: She sang Blank Space and it wasn't good. She has star quality but her vocals were swallowed up by the band. C

6. Qaasim Middleton: Takes on Paul McCartney and what a disaster. He runs around the stage and gets into the performances, the only thing missing is a singing voice worth listening to. F

7. Adanna Duru: I really thought she'd be the one going home, she redeemed herself with a solid, not spectacular performance of Bruno Mars. She seemed to take the judges critique and improve. B

8. Tyanna Jones: This 16-year-old is way beyond her years. This performance was the best of the night! Tyanna has to be considered one of the favorites. A+

9. Daniel Seavey: The young teenage girls are keeping him on the show. He's a nice kid but he's just not ready. The thing is the judges are praising him. D

10. Quentin Alexander: He tried 'Rolling In The Deep' and he just didn't have the vocal power to do it justice. It was very sub par. C-

11. Nick Fradiani: He was one of my favorites that had an off night. He's still a front runner but took a step back last night.

That means Sarina-Joi Crowe has to sing for the save. She did a decent job with her song but the judges choose not to use the save.
