We were in the final four teams of the Lisbon Left-Hand Club Horseshoe League playoffs. The 10th place team in the final four. Three years ago, we were the last place team and ended up winning the playoffs! Could we do it again?

No. Nobody on the team really shoot above their average and we lost in the semi-finals last night. The team will be playing next Wednesday to see if we finished third or fourth.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to be there next week. I will share why tomorrow during the Morning Buzz and with a story on our website.

So it was a good season and while I enjoy the game of horseshoes, I play because of the people on my team. Let me take a second to thank them, Noland Easler, Lad Brown, Mike Thompson and Scott Pomerleau. Noland, Lad and Scott are longtime, awesome friends and Mike has taught me a lot about the game.

I will not be playing in the league next season, so I am glad we got these extra weeks in the playoffs.
