Weight has been an ongoing issue in my life since I was ten years old. Going through high school as the chubby, awkward, shy kid and many years later it's still a battle. I think many of us have had this battle and have lost weight, gained it back only to try and lose it again. About five or six years ago, I thought I had won the battle.

I had lost about 80 pounds in a year and kept that weight for about two years. Then, it happened again, the weight started to come back and before I knew it, I had gained back half of the weight I had lost.

Since January 1, 2014, I am proud to say that I have lost 42 pounds and currently weigh the least that I have since I was 22 years old. Much of my success this year was due to the 'Mend A Body Solutions' program. It taught me not only what to eat, but when to eat.

Ideally, I would still like to lose about 25 more pounds.

I have more confidence in my knowledge of not letting the weight come back, plus I really do enjoy going to the gym!
