I've talked in past posts about my baseball vacations. I've been to Philadelphia and Baltimore to see the Red Sox on the road. However, the first trip was with my friend Jeremiah, a New York Yankees fan, to New York City to see them play the Twins.

I believe it was 2005 and the trip was a bus tour with Alpine Adventure Tours in Auburn. We arrived in New Jersey to our hotel, near Giants Stadium, on a Friday night. Saturday, the bus brought us into the city for the baseball game and we had a few hours to sight see. Then we went to Yankee Stadium. It was huge and those darn Yankees won the game. We toured the 9-11 site and that was very powerful to see. We toured Times Square and saw where The Late Show with David Letterman is recorded. So as we get ready for some winter weather, just remember we are only three months from pitchers and catchers reporting to camp!
