Animated Scooby Doo Film Set For Release in 2018
Warner Brothers Studio has officially confirmed that an animated Scooby-Doo feature film is in the works with an eye on a 2018 release.
There were reports in 2014 that Warner Brothers had a live-action Scooby Doo film in the works but here hasn’t been much talk about it since. The project is more than likely scrubbed and being replaced with the animated movie.
It would also seem that the Scooby-Doo movie is being positioned to serve as the beginning of a wave of animated films based on Hanna-Barbera cartoons like The Jetsons.
The Untitled Scooby-Doo Animated Movie will open in U.S. theaters on September 21st, 2018.
