App-Date: My Very Hungry Caterpillar Game

This is both my daughters' favorite phone / tablet game!  And, I have to admit, I sometimes play it, too.  Don't judge me!  It's a great stress reliever!

Based on Eric Carle's classic children's book, the goal is to take care of (feed, play with, nap) the caterpillar.  Just like in the book, he continues to grow until he creates a cocoon, goes to sleep, and emerges as a butterfly.

My favorite part was, the first time we played the game, neither of my kids got (even though they had read the book hundreds of times) that the caterpillar would turn into a butterfly.
