Augusta City Officials Propose New Portable Stage For Waterfront Wednesday Concerts

This Wednesday marks the final Waterfront Wednesday concert of the season and next year's show could have a different look to it. 

If you have joined us this year, you have noticed that the gazebo is gone. The gazebo had to be removed after when repairs were attempted on it by city staff.

The city has proposed a $2.9 million capital improvement plan that would include $80,000 to buy a portable stage for the concerts next year.

The proposed portable stage would also be used for other events and venues throughout the city.
