Aussie Developing 300 Mile Per Hour Street Luge
The current speed for a ‘street luge’ is 115 miles per hour and Australian Daz Fellows is out to break that mark. He wants to attach two mini-jet turbines to his ‘street luge’ and go 300 miles per hours.
If Daz can make that mark in would be a new Guinness Book of World Record. So far, he has spent nearly $90,000 of his own money developing the jet powered street luge but hope to find a sponsor in his world record attempt. He says if he can’t find one, he’ll continue on his own. He realizes it is an incredible speed, especially for something like a luge, but he thinks with a lot of work he will be able to get there and get there safely.
