Authorities Responding To Reports Of An Active Shooter At Andrews Air Force Base Outside Washington
UPDATE: 12:35PM - According to the Associated Press, reports of an active shooter at a military post outside Washington stemmed from someone who made a distress call after seeing security forces doing a routine inspection.
The confusion was heightened by a planned active shooter drill at Joint Base Andrews that had not yet begun and was planned for later in the morning. The base said in a Facebook
Two Teenage Boys Arrested For Stealing Eight Cars In A Week
State Police say they have charged two teenage boys with stealing eight cars in the past week from Farmingdale and causing damage to some of the cars and to the Litchfield Fairgrounds. The boys, whose names have not been released, are both 15 and from Farmingdale and Whitefield, according to Maine Department of Public Safety Spokesman Steve McCausland.
