The average heating oil prices in Maine have fallen to their lowest point in 10 years. The statewide average price for home heating oil in Maine has dropped to $1.99 a gallon, the lowest since 2004, according to the Governor's Energy Office.
The bull riding event filled the arena with excitement at the Boots N Bulls rodeo at the Litchfield Fairgrounds on Saturday as riders tried their best to stay on the bucking bulls for the allotted time. But one rider's time in the arena was a bit more "Special" than the others.

This is probably one of my biggest pet peeves. I don't understand why people release helium filled balloons into the sky. I recently watched a video from Thompson Square. In the video they revealed the gender of their belly bean. After releasing more than 2 dozen balloons into the sky, there was 1 lone balloon left that stated 'BOY'. Awww cute....I guess. What's even cuter is the wildlife that will ultimately get caught up in this contraption of latex and string.
