January 31, 2013 I love making a ‘to do list.’ I love it because as I cross things off I feel a sense of accomplishment. It feels like I can take on a whole new list of things. If I do it a few times, I can take care of lots of things that just need to get done. I guess I am not alone in these basic feelings.
January 31, 2013 The most charming town of Brunswick will celebrate Henry Wadsworth Longfellow in February. The community will have a number of events in honor of the poet. This year is the 206th anniversary of his birth. The annual Longfellow Days celebration will happen all through the month of February.

January 30, 2013 Legislative leaders have said OK to Maine Public Broadcasting Network and expanding State House coverage. It should be kind of like a local version of C-SPAN. The idea was approved by the House and Senate leaders. The free, over-the-air MPBN State House TV channel is devoted exclusively to coverage of the Legislature and government affairs.

January 28, 2013 This made me giggle, until I remembered how much I paid for a bag of frozen wings at the supermarket. Patrick likes them, but those wings must be made of gold or something! Well, two guys who work for a storage facility are accused of stealing $65,000 in frozen Tyson chicken wings. So, I am guessing it was just a few bags.
