Join me as the host of the Morning Buzz with Randy McCoy, weekday mornings from 5am to 9am. I also can be heard on Sundays from 10-noon. Make sure you come by to meet me at many of our live local broadcasts.
I am being a little sentimental and feel like doing a little Throwback Thrusday - Sibling Edition. These are my siblings. My older sister, Brandy and my younger brother, Merrill (my parents didn't like him...not just kidding, it's a family name but we call him Joe) These pictures were taken 29 years apart.
Too cute! 3 week old little girl stops crying the moment Luke Bryan stops singing!! Obviously, this family just became #NutHouse Fans for LIFE! However, my 12-year-old is such a big fan of Luke that I can making her stop having a tizzy by playing his music too. We can't wait to see him July 17th!!
The Duct Tape Challenge is one of the newest challenges that circulating around the younger generation population. It is where you wrap yourself up in duct tape. You have no use of your arms and legs. The challenge? Trying to get yourself out of the tape. This can result in severe injury...even death.
Today, I am three weeks away from getting my head screwed on straight. February 17th is the day I will conquer chiari. But, the anticipation is driving me crazy. I want it over with, already, and want to be on the other side of it recovering. Knowing that I'm having such a risky surgery, it has me thinking about 'life' and how I've never really done anything truly 'out there'.
How exciting!! Brand new country artist, Chris Lane, is joining McCoy & Dyer on the Morning Buzz tomorrow to talk about his musical career and, of course, his debut single 'Fix'. Fix is at number 33 on the charts.
MSNBC host, Rachel Maddow, and her staff reached out to Gov. LePage's office regarding his recent comments about not delivering a State of the State Address in person. But instead, providing it in writing and going about his usual business. The interaction between both MSNBC and LePage's staff is just too comical not to share.
We had some fun this weekend at the Augusta Wedding Show. Exploring props at one of the photo booths, we discovered that Andy looks pretty dapper with hair on his head. So we had some fun with it. But hair is so over rated. Requires a lot of upkeep, time and patience. So maybe Andy has it right....no hair. Well, you decide.
Surgery is 26 days away. I am trying to get my stuff together so that recovery will go as smooth as possible. This weekend, I'm going to prepare meals to freeze. I figure this is one less thing my husband will have to do. My recovery is going to be a long journey and with 6 kids, I don't want him to get overwhelmed.

Maybe this petition doesn't effect you directly, maybe it does. Nonetheless, it is an important issue that needs to be addressed. I've shared stories about my mom, who is blind. President Obama planned to make it a requirement for websites to be accessible to those with disabilities, such as the blind and visually impaired. He said that this would be “the most important updates to the ADA since its original enactment.”
