Dawn Habash from Augusta, who was hiking alone in Nepal, was still unaccounted for, as of Sunday (April 26) night. A devastating earthquake struck the Himalayan nation Saturday (April 25) with the latest death toll being upwards of 2,500 people.

Boston Marathon: winners were Lelisa Desisa (2:09:17) of Ethiopia for the men and Caroline Rotich (2:24:55) of Kenya for the women.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is looking for information on a missing Edgecomb woman. The husband of Lynn Crink, 74, reported her missing Saturday, April 18.
Biathlon World Cup to be Held in Northern Maine
The countdown is on as Aroostook County will host the 2016 International Biathlon Union World Cup. At a press conference in Mars Hill (April 17) today, officials announced the dates and early details for when the world’s top biathletes will converge on northern Maine for the eighth in a series of nine stops on the 2015-2016 circuit. Aroostook County is the only stop in the USA.
