A big Bee salute to our latest 'Hometown Hero' powered by the O'Connor Auto Park.Larry White

Police Chief, Fire Chief

Jay

Chief Larry White is the Police Chief and Fire Chief for the town of Jay. He is also a father and very proud grandfather and husband and friend to many. Chief Larry White has been in law enforcement for 32 years. Chief White is not fighting criminals right now because he is fighting for his life. Chief White is on a mission to beat stage 3 pancreatic cancer. Chief White was told on January 7th that he had cancer. The reason I think Chief White is a hero is the way he has handled himself during this time. Chief White has been very positive and is still doing everything he can to help the Police Department and the Fire Department and the Jay community. Chief White has made sure everything is running smooth in the town. Chief White has thought of everyone during this time and I think he needs to be recognized for his strength and determination. We are all very proud of him and the town is having a benefit dinner for Chief White. The dinner will be on March 1st at 4 P.M to 6 P.M at the Spruce Mountain High School. I think if you look up HERO you will see Chief White. He has dedicated his life to helping others and now needs help. I just want to say thank you to Chief White for everything he has done for me and the town of Jay.
