B98.5 New Country Spotlight: John King

John King, born and raised in Demorest, Georgia has been a hard worker since he was young. Working in construction since he was 15. He took the work ethic he developed and has used it to pursue a career in music. In 2014 his song Tonight, tonight was featured during Thursday Night Foootball and he has gained steady recognition since then.

In 2016 he gained wider attention when the song he wrote for Randy Houser, We Went, went to number 1 on the Billboard Country Charts. He is back with a new single, Heatwave, which you can hear below.
