State Police say a Bangor man has died from injuries he received in a one car crash on the Interstate in Sidney Thanksgiving morning.

According to Maine Department of Public Safety Steve McCausland, Christopher Galvin, 44, suffered multiple injuries when he lost control of his vehicle which struck rock ledges along I-95, and then overturned, coming to rest on its roof.

The crash took place just before 1AM on Nov. 26 and was discovered by a tractor trailer driver, McCausland said. Trooper Diane Perkins Vance said the cause of the crash remains under investigation and so far, no witnesses have come forward who either saw the Galvin's vehicle or the crash.

Galvin had been treated at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston where he died earlier today (Dec. 4), McCausland said. Anyone with information on the wreck is asked to call State Police in Augusta at 624-7074.
