Beatles TV Eight Episode TV Event in the Works

NBC is developing an eight episode event TV series about the Beatles. The network has been pushing ‘event TV’ since the live performance of The Sound of Music which was a huge rating success.

There hasn’t been a time table set of the Beatles series but few attempts have been made to bring their story to light. Movies have been made about their manager, Brian Epstein, and there was a movie about John Lennon’s early years called Nowhere Boy. You may recall the remaining Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr reunited in February to mark the 50^th anniversary of the group.
