Beef Recall Expanded To 12 Million Pounds
Just when you thought it was safe to reach into your freezer and thaw some burger the USDA has expanded a beef recall to more than 12 million pounds after another 200+ people have wound up sick due to salmonella contamination.
According to the United States Department of Agriculture the raw beef was shipped around the country and was packaged between late July and September. The additional products have the USDA inspection number "EST. 267." The greatest concern by the USDA is that the products are still in people's freezers. They are urging everyone to check and if found the items should be thrown away.
