New Contract for NE Patriots Aaron Hernandez and Cut Down Day

The biggest surprise out of Foxboro was the new contract for tight end Aaron Hernandez. He finalized a five-year, $40 million contract extension and called it one of the best days of his life. According to the Boston Globe, he said, “It’s an honor and it seems so surreal like, ‘Is it really true?’ It’s just a dream and knowing I can help my family, they’re the ones who I love, it’s just an honor.”
Listen for the New England Patriots all season long on B98.5. Pre & post game shows are also streamed on-line. Next broadcast is the final pre-season game against the NY Giants, Wednesday night, 8/29. Kick-off @ 7pm, pre-game starts @ 4pm.
