Billionaire Elon Musk Has a Transportation Vision Called Hyperloop

Billionaire Elon Musk, the guy that gave us Pay Pal, SpaceX and Tesla electric cars, has introduced his vision of a transportation system called ’Hyperloop’. A means of transportation that is solar-powered and can get you from Los Angeles to San Francisco in 30 minutes.

Hyperloop would travel at speeds greater than 600 mph, would be cheaper than a plane ticket and be more convenient than flying. The details on how it will work though are not clear, but a description given in 2012 said it was cross between a Concorde and a railgun and an air hockey table.

He admits he doesn’t know exactly how it will work but hopes engineers, tinkers and inventors can make something out of the idea he has put forward.
