Body Of 84-Year-Old Hallowell Man Found In Manchester Lake

WMTW is reporting that the body of an 84-year-old Hallowell man has been found in Cobbossee Lake in Manchester.

According to the WMTW story, the body of Richard Barrett was discovered around 10AM this morning (Oct. 6). The story said Barrett was at his sister's house on the lake trimming branches when he apparently fell into the water. Authorities are still investigating how Barrett ended up in the water and for how long he was in the lake before his body was discovered.

The story said there were no signs of injury or foul play.
