Boston Red Sox Fans Enjoy A Dream Season

You've heard the saying, 'wait 'til next year', I think that even the most optimistic Red Sox fan, would have never dreamed that they would be in the World Series in 2013.The 2012 season was certainly one of the worst ever in the team's storied history. They ended last season at 69-93. Bobby Valentine was well, Bobby Valentine and some of the players were 'bad clubhouse' guys.

Flash forward to 2013, there's a new manager, new attitude and lots of facial hair. Who would've have thought that would be the recipe for a 97-65 record and winning the American League Championship?

New additions of seasoned pros like Shane Victorino, Jonny Gomes, Mike Napoli, Koji Uehara, helped form a team with a never give up attitude. This is a scappy, pesky team that Red Sox fans can rally around.

So, enjoy the World Series, when the Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Cardinals meet up for the 4th time in World Series history. Win or Lose, it's been a season where Red Sox fans can quote Red Sox announcer Joe Castiglione and say 'can you believe it.'
