Brantley Gilbert won't be having a 'Small Town Throwdown' this New Year's Eve. Instead, the singer says his plans will most likely involve a low-key night off.

Gilbert doesn't get much time to relax, and this year was exceptionally busy. He spent a good portion of 2014 on his successful Let It Ride Tour, which isn't even over, although it has wrapped for the year. Since he's got some time to just ... chill, Gilbert is looking forward to a little R&R -- especially on NYE!

“You know, in the recent past, we’ve played a lot of shows on New Year’s Eve and that’s always a good time," the singer explains, adding, "You know I’m at home there. I don’t know what we’re gonna do this year."

Gilbert admits that staying in is really starting to look good to him after such a big year. "I’d kinda like to lay a little low, that would mean the most to me, and really just enjoy some down time," he explains. "I may raise a little hell, ‘cause that’s me, but we’ll cross that bridge when we get there.”

Fans who need a BG fix during the break are in luck -- the 'One Hell of an Amen' singer will appear on ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve,' which is broadcast on television. Details here.
