A few months ago Burt Reynolds sold the Bandit Trans Am, at auction, that was in the movie Smokey and the Bandit for $450,000. He just sold another ‘1977 Bandit Trans Am' at auction for $170,000. Confused?

The first Bandit sold was the one from the movie, the second Bandit was a tribute car restored and owned by Reynolds. The car never appeared in the movie, it was used as a promo car. It is identical to the ‘movie Bandit’ car, a Special Edition Y82 with Hurst T-Top, black deluxe interiors and a 6.6 liter engine.

The ‘tribute’ car is signed twice by Reynolds, once on the hood and another on the dashboard. The car came with an autographed jacket and hat. The Bandit Trans Am is the last in the Reynolds collection.
