There is a casting call for lobstermen who want to star in a reality TV show!

A multimedia firm that is headed by 'Today' show weatherman Al Roker is looking to develop a new reality TV show that would feature lobster fishermen in Maine. The idea could be pitched to networks as early as next month, with potential network partners including the History Channel, Discovery Channel and A & E.

The production company has contacted the Maine Lobstermen's Association, which distributed information to its members about the casting call.

If a network signs on for the show, production shooting could begin in March or April.

Al Roker Entertainment has produced other reality TV programming, including Coast Guard Alaska, the Pacific Northwest and Florida.

Interested lobstermen should email casting@alroker.com and briefly tell them about yourself and why you would be a good fit for the show and include pictures.
