Election Day in Maine: Find Your Info On Where To Vote

Today is election in day in Maine.  There are five bond issues for voters, so those will be on everyone’s ballots.  If you community has any local races or issues you will find those on your ballot as well.  Not sure where you need to go to vote? Find your location here.  According to what I was reading at Maine.gov,  you are not registered to vote as of Election Day, you can register on Election Day and voteYou must register in person and must show ID and proof of where you live, but you can do it.

‘Kennebec Valley YMCA Lose It With The Y’ Starts Monday-You Will Love It!

B98.5, Maine Army National Guard Tanksgiving Food Drive, November 4-8

As we get ready to start our 14th annual Tanksgiving food drive there are some alarming facts about hunger in Maine. Ten years ago 9 percent of the state’s population, about 53,000, didn’t have enough food to put on their table. That number has jumped to 15 percent today, or 132,000 Mainer’s.

Deadline to Request Absentee Ballot is Thursday, Oct 31st

Tuesday November 5th is an election day in Maine. So, if you were planning voting by absentee ballot you better get going on that. We have until Thursday, Oct 31 to request an absentee ballot. That also includes requests to vote in the presence of the municipal clerk.
