The Top Ten Family Friendly Neighborhoods In Augusta-Waterville

The website Neighborhood Scout has ranked twenty-two neighborhoods in the Augusta and Waterville area on being 'family friendly'. They used six metrics in their study. There were excellent public schools, safety from crime, owner-occupied single family homes, families with children and adults with college degrees. Let's look at their rankings.

This is why raising awareness of chiari malformation to the medical community is so important.    Each state should offer the same level of care and when a doctor hears the word 'chiari', they don't scratch their head and say "Huh".   Had the first neurosurgeon, who operated on Connor, known just how finicky chiari is...maybe Connor wouldn't be fighting for some sort of quality of life.
