Sawyer Brown has been making music for a long time, since 1981 to be exact, and they are set to perform tonight at the Waterville Opera House. They have released twenty studio albums, of which three have been certified gold in the United States for sales of 500,000 copies...

It's a moment I will never forget.  We were close to the front row at Luke's Bangor concert.  The concert was held on his 40th Birthday.  Luke Bryan talks about it on a recent episode of Ellen.  But, let's not forget...for a brief moment in time...B98.5 had an appearance with Luke.

The Taste of Country Music Festival is June 9-11, 2017. We already know that Jason Aldean is one of the headlining acts and we'll be announcing the next headliner on Wednesday, September 21st at 7am during the Morning Buzz.

Coming up Saturday morning, the Conquer Chiari Walk Across America walk will take place.  This is the first time the walk, organized by Conquer Chiari, will be in Central Maine.  The event is to help raise awareness about chiari malformation and to bring those conquering this neurological disorder together.  It will be held at the Quarry Road Recreation in Waterville.

This Saturday (Sept. 17) is the big day with B98.5 and our Joe Diffie concert at the Topsham Fair Grounds. There is still time to purchase your tickets.

Rascal Flatts, Kelsie Ballerini and Chris Lane wrapped up what has been an amazing 2016 at the Darlings Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor. Like school children dragging their feet to class, all good things must come to an end… that is until next year.

This Sunday, September 4th, sees the last country concert of the season coming to the Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor.  They are celebrating with free tickets to the Rascal Flatts for Military & First Responders and 1 immediate family member.

Where the heck has summer gone? We are just over a week away from Labor Day weekend and a great way to enjoy it is with some great country music, camping, food and friends. That's what is on the menu at the 2nd Annual Mountain View Campground's Countryfest on Saturday, September 3rd.

Drake White has it going on these days. His debut album "Spark" hit stores today and the first single, "Livin' The Dream" is doing very well on the country charts. Drake has been opening up concerts for the Zac Brown Band, and played to a sold out house at Fenway Park in Boston this past Saturday and Sunday nights...

August is winding down, but there are still a couple of weeks left to enjoy some great, free music along the beautiful Kennebec River in Gardiner along the downtown waterfront. The free Friday night concert series has been running throughout the summer with concerts along the river running from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM...

If it's going to rain, it seems to do it mostly on Wednesdays.  Unfortunately, due to weather, we've had to cancel Sharon Hood Dixon Road's performance twice due to inclement weather.  We got an announcement yesterday that the city of Augusta is doing a make up TODAY.

He will turn 70 years old on Christmas day, he doesn't look or act like a rock star, and in my opinion, he is one of the best and funnest shows you can go to. I have had the pleasure of seeing Jimmy Buffett live four times, and each time has been an event...
