'Tis the season for: Lobster! Lobster! Lobster! It's rare to come across a Mainer who isn't an avid seafood lover, but that was me until last 4th of July one fateful night up to camp with a family I was just getting to know and the only option for dinner...
Today on the Morning Buzz, our Brain Buster was about ice cream. For me, ice cream is crack. I'm hooked and addicted. I love going to the locally owned ice cream shoppes and getting homemade ice cream. They are so much better than franchise ice cream. But here's one thing I've always wondered...and if you are an owner of a local ice cream shoppe, would you please consider adding this item to your menu.
Of course, there's the obvious days like: May 4th (Star Wars), Cinco De Mayo (May 5th) & Mother's Day (May 8th). There are a lot of other recognition and observances happening in the month of May. I got a brand new television show this Saturday afternoon on A & E, it's called 'Fit to Fat to Fit'. The quick premise of the show is that a person who is overweight spends four months with a personal trainer to workout and to change their diet habits. But, there is a twist to this show.

We waited 15 minutes...and it's not even Thanksgiving Day yet...on hold to speak with Alice from Butterball. Hopefully, our patience served a purpose and answers those pesky turkey 9-1-1 problems you might face on Turkey Day.
In the United States, Christmas dinner is (for us) usually traditional. Ham or Turkey with potatoes, veggies, salad, pies and maybe some cookies. But, outside of the U.S., there are some unique holiday dishes.
