Sarah’s Mend-A-Body Progress…

Tell me if you can relate to this scenario.  Today you commit to starting a diet.  You say "I will be good.  I will be good."  You have a greek yogurt for breakfast.  Lunch consists of a nice healthy salad.  Then you go home...and proceed to eat the entire kitchen.

Yup, I can relate.  Then I would say "I'll just start again tomorrow".  Tomorrow turns to a week, turns to a month, winter brings spring...you get the idea.  Then, you discover you've gained 20 pounds.  It's a vicious cycle.

Dieting is NEVER easy.  It's a constant mind game.  Picking a good time to start dieting:  you don't want to do it during the holidays.  You don't want to do it during summer.  There's too much junk food in the house this week, let me eat it all...so I'm not tempted to eat it and start tomorrow.  Yea, you know what I'm talking about.  I'm here to tell you to stop it!  Reprogram your thoughts to: I can.  I will.  End of story.
