It’s described as a ‘Southern Gothic soup opera.’ The show is unnamed but the plot is about Sherriff Ruby Adair (Reba) as a small town sherriff in Kentucky who, with the help of cocky FBI agent solve a horrific crime after a suspected terrorist act. Country News: Randy Travis Making Progress

Another big step in recovery for Randy Travis as he and his wife Mary that came during a road trip back to Nashville.  According to CNN while they from Memphis to Nashville, Randy saw the highway sign that said Nashville and he yelled out Woo-hoo and pointed to the sign and said ‘Nashville.’ Mary realized that he read the sign and recognized the word and said it. Mar said that is a huge step in his recovery from his 2013 stoke.

Reba McEntire, who had a birthday yesterday (62), and The Boot tells us she holds a country music record. Country News: Martina McBride’s Charity Helps Homeless Moms to Be

Martina McBride’s charity ‘Team Music is Love’ celebrated young mothers who live at Covenant House, a homeless youth shelter in New York City. McBride partnered with diaper companies to refill the shelter with essentials. Each mother to be received a gift bag with educational toys, books and bath supplies. McBride also invited all staff and mothers to show at Paly Station Theatre that night. According to Taste of Country, 18,000 diapers were donated.
