April 20, 2013 Monday, April 22 is Earth Day. In full disclosure, I am a tree hugger and proud of it. Every day I look around and see how much more I could be doing. I see what we all could be doing. But here are some easy ways to take it easy on Mother Earth. Even my ShadowDog is getting in the mood with his new Earth Day collar. He likes nature.
April 18, 2013 Both the buyer and seller were anonymous, but a rare pink diamond recently sold at auction for $39.3 million. The 34.65-carat diamond was sold at Christie’s Auction House in New York and was the second highest jewel sold at auction. The diamond is nicknamed "The Princie Diamond", and had its origins in India where it was found 300 years ago.

April 16, 2013 There is going to be an Evening of Bluegrass on May 4th at the Messalonskee Performing Arts Center. Good music for a good cause. It is to benefit the Messalonskee Music Program.
April 16, 2013 Anderson's been there many times. Visited the Aquarium, the Museum, the IMAX theater, Boston Market, Fenway Park. He loves to go there. And I love being able to take him.
But what now?
Sitting on the couch watching the footage over and over again, knowing inside my heart is breaking for the people there, I look over to see Anderson watching very intently.
