Heating Oil Prices Drop as Colder Temps Arrive!

Yes, you read that right. If you can afford to fill the tank you might want to think about it. Maine officials say the price of heating oil in the state dropped 8 cents this week, continuing a downward trend in the price of fuel. Officials say the average statewide cash price for heating oil was $3.16 per gallon this week, according to an Oct. 27 survey.

Good news for Maine motorists, gas prices in the state dropped almost three cents a gallon this week for a statewide average of $3.16 a gallon. Nationally the average for a gallon of gas dropped 3.7 cents a gallon to $3.05 per gallon.
