Chris Lane found himself stuck on the side of the road on Sunday afternoon after his tour bus burst into flames. Lane said that he and his crew were about 15 minutes from Nashville, ‘almost home from a long trip back from New York,’ when they heard a loud noise, and the bus’ back lounge caught fire. Everyone got off the bus safe.

A little bit of Nashville is about to take over the Big Apple. Ryman Hospitality has announced plans for Opry City Stage, a new multi-level entertainment venue and restaurant that will bring the Grand Ole Opry to Times Square in 2017.

Florida Georgia Line just got off the road, but they’re already making plans to head out again. The country duo has announced that they will be extending their Dig Your Roots Tour into 2017. FGL will begin a new string of shows, 28 in total all in January. More dates will be announced soon. Unfortunately they will not be coming back to Maine.

Eric Church will be releasing a live, unplugged album from his Summer 2016 Red Rocks concerts in early November. ‘Mr. Misunderstood on the Rocks Live & (Mostly) Unplugged is set for release exclusively through Walmart on November 4th.

A big country beach party is coming to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 2017. The Tortuga Music Festival will feature Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan and Chris Stapleton April 7-9. Last year’s festival set a new record with over 90,000 attendees from 47 states and 16 countries. They are expecting 2017’s festival to break that record.

The Hero Tour 2017 will kick off on Feb. 3 in Boston, Massachusetts at the Paradise Rock Club. Thus far, Morris has announced 11 shows, but more will be added in the coming weeks. The Boston show is as close as she will get to Maine.

November is going to be a very busy month for Garth Brooks: In addition to the release of his ‘The Ultimate Collection’ box set and holiday duets record with wife Trisha Yearwood, both on Nov. 11, he will release his 11th studio album at the end of the month. ‘Gunslinger,’ Brooks’ new record, is set for release on Nov. 25.

Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood‘s long-rumored duets album is coming as a holiday record. Brooks first revealed details. Titled Christmas Together, Brooks and Yearwood’s Christmas album will include songs such as ‘Ugly Christmas Sweater,’ ‘Merry Christmas Means I Love You’ and ‘What I’m Thankful For.’ Christmas Together is set for release on Nov. 11.
