Guilty...I've been holding off on sharing this since October.  I love Christmas music and can't wait until it starts playing.  Here are my favorite Christmas songs.  In no particular order:

the 1970's, no one did pop country finer than Glen Campbell. The hits, the outfits, and the headlines. Minus the tabloid fodder, (well, he's sometimes a target) Tim McGraw has tread a similar path, and stayed near the top for close to 25 years. Over the last half dozen years, country and pop have crossed paths more than the previous 15 years combined. Whether it was Florida Georgia Line bringing in Nelly, and later Jason Derulo, or Lady Gaga or Steven Tyler courting the country market, the music pot is stirring faster than ever. For the most part, a lot of people listen to everything.

Since his death last week, tributes from artists across all genres have paid tribute to Chris Cornell. The Soundgarden singer left an imprint which influenced a generation, and re-inspired others, like Johnny Cash. Are you single?  Dreading the upcoming 'All Lovers Day' holiday coming up?  I've got some songs to give your V-Day a lil kick in the butt.  You can groove your way through the BEST day to be single...and maybe even treat yourself to a box of chocolates.  Remember...you only need you...and some GREAT freakin music.

2016 has been an interesting year, to say the least. We say goodbye to a sitting president and welcome in a new commander in chief. Our country is divided, but one thing that isn't divided, is the love people have for country music. There were so many great country songs in 2016...

LoCash and their new song 'Ring On Every Finger' wins again this week on the Bee Battle. They'll go for their third win this week as they take on Darius Rucker and his new song 'If I Told You'.

LoCash got a lot of votes in the final day of voting in the latest Bee Battle and got the win over last weeks champion William Michael Morgan. The final vote total was 'Ring On Every Finger' by LoCash 6,109, 'Missing' by William Michael Morgan 5,365. I think both songs will be big hits!

William Michael Morgan's first hit song 'I Met A Girl' made it all the way to No. 1 and it looks like our listeners are loving his new song 'Missing'. William Michael Morgan is the new champion in the Bee Battle winning against Garth Brooks and his song 'Baby, Let's Lay Down and Dance'.

Garth Brooks is back and our listeners are loving it! Garth Brooks is the winner again in the Bee Battle, he won with 6,755 votes against challenger Jessie James Decker with 3,432 votes.

Garth Brooks is the new Bee Battle champion, Garth's new song 'Let's Lay Down and Dance' edged out former champion Brad Paisley's song 'Today' by a vote total of 237-179. Garth will go for his second win against new artist Jessie James Decker and her new song 'Lights Down Low'

Brad Paisley is the new champion of the Bee Battle! His new song 'Today' will try for it's second win but it won't be easy, Garth Brook's new song 'Baby, Let's Lay Down And Dance' is this weeks challenger.

Carrie Underwood and her new song 'Dirty Laundry' is now in the Bee Battle Hall of Fame. Carrie Underwood won this week with almost 75 percent of the vote over Jon Pardi's new song 'Dirt On My Boots'. That means we have two new songs for this weeks Bee Battle.

I'm the first to admit, I will play kids music in the car...alone.  Don't judge me.  But, because I have 6 kids, I am rarely 'alone' and therefore have an excuse to play crazy silly Halloween music.  These songs help me get excited and into the spirit.  Here are my 5 favorite songs to listen to in October.  I've added a bonus song to prepare you for what's right around the corner.
