Food shortages have been common in Venezuela recently from milk and butter to coffee and cornmeal, but now things are getting serious. The country is running out of toilet paper. People have been looking for the bathroom product for two weeks, when one grocery runs out, shoppers head to another in hopes they have a supply, but it’s not on the shelves.

It Is Dandelion Season

As you can tell from looking around it is dandelion season, which starts when the grass starts getting green. Personally I do not like dandelions on my lawn, so I use a weed and feed to get rid of them. You have to be careful on the type of spray or granules you use, but a quick trip to the hardware or lawn store and they can help you pick out a safe and effective product. If dandelions don’t bother you, there are benefits to them.

Too Many Fouls Being Called in the NBA Playoffs

I love watching basketball, especially this time of year when the playoffs are going on, even though my favorite team, the Boston Celtics was eliminated early by the New York Knicks. The problem I’m having this year is it seems the refs are taking over the game too much. I understand there have been times when they have to get the game under control and fouls, even technical fouls, are necessary but, I have seen the refs call fouls that aren’t even there.

I'm not a HUGE tanner but I DO like to get a base tan before the Summer comes and reeks havoc on my skin.The picture you see is of Chad and myself in Myrtle Beach on vacation last year. Because we got our base tans we were able to enjoy the hot sun and not burn. We enjoyed that vacation with Rick and Rita Turcotte immensely! Can't wait to go back there again!
