Randy’s College Football Wrap Up

Alabama showed why they are #1 in College Football with a convincing win over rival LSU 38-17. The Crimson Tide played cupcakes the last four weeks and were scoring points at will but LSU’s defense was supposed to give the some competition, and they did in the first half. LSU moved the ball well in the first half too, even with two fumbles lost, the score was tied at 17-17 at the half.

Mike Michaud is Gay: Today’s Big Story Should Be Such a Non-Issue

So today, all over the news is the news that gubernatorial candidate Mike Michaud made the announcement he is gay. Excuse me while I yawn. This should be the biggest non-issue around. But from what I was reading Michaud, who is a six-term congressman for the state of Maine, felt he needed to address his sexuality to counter "whisper campaigns, insinuations and push-polls" that raised questions about his personal life. So he did, with an op-ed piece that was released today.

Randy’s College Football Wrap Up, Week 10

It is week 10 in College Football and #1 Alabama had the week off. On October 5th the Michigan Wolverines beat Minnesota to win the oldest division rival trophy, ‘The Little Brown Jug’, but this Saturday they lost to Michigan State and the Spartans won the second oldest division rival trophy ‘The Paul Bunyan Trophy’. State won 29-6.
